Pam Meyers and Karri Compton
Pam Meyers has written most of her life. She holds a B.A. in communication from Trinity International University . She has published articles in Today’s Christian Woman Magazine, Christian Computing, Ancestry Magazine, and Victory in Grace Magazine. In 2006 she was a contributor to the compilation book, His Forever (Adams Media), with her story Like Son, Like Father. She was a first-round finalist in the ACFW Noble Theme Contest in 2002. As a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Pam sits on its board as Secretary. Now for the THEME ANNOUNCEMENT!
This week's theme is SCHOOL, and there are TWO ways to enter. Submit a SHORT STORY, up to 2000 words OR a PHOTO STORY (up to 4 photos per entry please) revolving around the theme SCHOOL.
This contest will last two weeks, so you have until Friday, SEPTEMBER 7th to submit your entry. We'll have a special set of judges this week - I just have to go twist a few arms before I announce them publicly!
The winner of this PHOTO STORY or SHORT STORY contest will receive a copy of The Courage to Write by Ralph Keyes, the regular promo perks, and entry into the grand prize drawing in December.
NOTE: The major prize for the Grand Prize drawing will be announced in the September issue of the Pix-N-Pens Newsletter, so be sure to sign up if you aren't already! You'll be glad you did!
