Patriotism in New Zealand

    Those pix are beautiful!!! But I have to confess that I don't see the patriot element in that ... uh, that bird thing. It's a terrific picture. It makes me smile. But what is it?

    The Kiwi Bird is the national symbol of New Zealand. They're extinct, and native to NZ.
