ReplyDeleteWe went to our small town fireworks on the 4th. The best part was the politicians' booths before the fireworks. It was just the sort of silliness you would expect from small town elections.
Who cares who the Clerk of the Court is, anyway? What does that person do? No one could tell me. I said: Just take resumes and hire someone. Why do the voters have to fill that spot?
It was so funny. But not really. It looks like an antiquated system in need of a change.

Also, my mom is suffering from alzheimers and she likes me to read to her. She doesn't retain any of the material but it entertains her for the moment.

ReplyDeleteWhenever I am done reading books (unless it's a "keeper") I always give them away either to friends and family, Freeshare/Freecycle or the library. So you know these books will get read over and over and over again.
